A very special place has come to life at the idyllic Schlossplatz in Bad Vöslau: da Aurora, a restaurant that seamlessly blends interior space with nature. Our design concept places the beautiful garden at the heart of the experience, bringing in ample light and greenery through expansive windows. The result is an open, welcoming space that still feels intimate and sheltered.
Strategically placed seating areas are oriented toward the outdoors, with carefully coordinated colors that enhance the connection to the natural surroundings. This bond with nature is also reflected in the choice of materials: warm earthy tones, wood, and handcrafted woven textures flow consistently throughout the interior.
A true design highlight – and a unique challenge – was the curved wall cladding in the conservatory. Its precise execution required both thoughtful planning and high-level craftsmanship. Together with the matching arches above the bar, they now create a defining architectural element that adds depth and frames the bar area with refined elegance.
da Aurora achieves a delicate balance between tradition and modernity – evident, for example, in the classic stone flooring of the outdoor dining area, which is complemented by contemporary details. The space captures the charm of its surroundings while meeting the expectations of modern gastronomy.
More than just a restaurant, da Aurora is a celebration of Italian joie de vivre – rooted in nature.
