The Zündwerk Living Room in Strasshof is a place where the spark between coziness and exclusive design is immediately ignited. The interior architecture concept developed by Derenko builds on the successful existing steak restaurant and motel, expanding it into an extraordinary world of experience. At its heart is a cozy yet elegant living room atmosphere in the style of the 1920s, inviting guests to linger, share stories, and enjoy.
Dark woods on the wall panels, an impressive library wall, and a spacious platform area give the seven-meter-high room an unexpected sense of security. Elegant chandeliers and floor-length, soft curtains set luxurious accents, while witty black-and-white portraits of famous music and film idols provide a personal touch. Antique unique pieces such as old mirrors, rugs, and wooden sideboards evoke the uncomplicated feeling of being at home with good friends.
The interior design offers space for various needs, whether it is pure relaxation by the open fireplace or socializing around the pool table. Culinarically, this ambience is accompanied by a selection of tapas from Spain and Mexico as well as regional delicacies. With this project, Derenko created a harmonious blend of historical elegance and modern hospitality, making the motto "It’s always a pleasure!" tangible in every corner of the room.
