Located directly on Vienna’s bustling Mariahilfer Straße, Derenko has created an extraordinary space for beauty and well-being with the "Next Generation" concept for Katharina Strassl and her team. The approximately 300-square-meter salon breaks away from traditional hairdressing clichés, presenting a young, sustainable, and fresh look instead. The goal of the interior architecture was to create an environment that treats both the eyes and the hair while conveying a casual, urban lifestyle.

The interior design consistently follows a striking loft character. Rough brick walls meet warm wooden elements and cool metal details, giving the space an industrial yet welcoming touch. Massive mirrors ensure a sense of openness and light, while colorful wallpapers set deliberate accents and emphasize the salon’s fashionable flair. The combination of raw materials and fine design elements reflects a high standard of quality and craftsmanship.

In close collaboration with industry experts, a spatial feel was developed that combines sociability and professionalism. The new salon is more than just a place for haircuts; it is a modern stage for the next generation of hairdressing. Derenko has succeeded in translating Katharina Strassl’s philosophy into a physical space, creating a stylish retreat in the middle of Vienna's vibrant shopping district.
