Since its grand opening in September 2023, Urikiri in PlusCity Pasching has become the go-to spot in Upper Austria for lovers of authentic Korean street food. The interior, designed by Derenko, captures the raw energy of Asian food stalls and translates it into a bold, atmospheric hospitality space.

The concept celebrates imperfection and contrast: exposed concrete walls, industrial-style mesh panels with color accents, and a container-inspired food counter define the visual identity. These elements evoke urban street culture while padded bench seating and comfortable chairs ensure guests feel welcome and at ease.

A signature feature of the restaurant is the large wall mural of a smoking tiger, inspired by a traditional Korean folk tale. It adds cultural depth and makes the dining experience truly immersive.

With Urikiri, Derenko has created more than just a place to eat – it’s a space where street food authenticity, storytelling, and urban design meet. A restaurant that brings Korean spirit to Austria through strong visual identity and smart interior planning.
