Ice Cream is the most honest form of indulgence: it demands your full attention – otherwise, it disappears. For the family-run business “Eissalon El Sendiouny” in Himberg near Vienna, Derenko developed a concept that translates this very idea into architecture and gives it a lasting form.

Curved lines run as a defining design motif throughout the entire interior – in the furniture, wall design, and spatial flow. Pastel tones in rosé and sage green balance the atmosphere between a sense of summer freshness and timeless lightness. The wave-shaped wall relief with integrated neon accents sets the visual rhythm of the space; greenery and a carefully considered lighting concept create a place that is not meant to be illustrated, but experienced.

As an interior architecture studio for gastronomy and hospitality, Derenko designs spaces that resonate beyond the first impression. Himberg has gained not just a newly designed ice cream parlor, but a reason to linger a little longer.
