The Federal Real Estate Agency (BIG) commissioned Derenko to redesign its company canteen as a true space for relaxation. The result is a thoughtfully structured environment that blends functionality, natural materials, and contemporary design.

The 50-seat layout is divided into inviting zones using low and mid-height furniture, offering visual variety and privacy without closing off the space. Warm wood accents, elegant marble tabletops, and lush greenery contribute to a light, calm atmosphere. The design plays with natural textures and minimalist lines to create a retreat from the busy workday.

At the core of the space is a spacious serving counter with clear structure – ensuring both efficiency and aesthetic appeal. A carefully curated lighting concept enhances the welcoming feel, turning each break into a moment of calm.

With the BIG canteen, Derenko has created more than a staff dining area – it's a modern workplace oasis that reflects the values of care, design, and wellbeing.
