For Castelletto at Schwedenplatz in Vienna, Derenko developed an interior design concept that combines Italian gelato culture, modern hospitality design and urban flair. The spacious guest area is defined by a bright ice cream and cake counter, warm wood finishes, elegant circular lighting and distinctive blue accents.
Marble-look surfaces, textured walls and graphic design elements create a high-quality atmosphere between gelateria, café and restaurant. Comfortable seating areas with upholstered benches, fabric chairs and gallery-style picture walls invite guests to stay, while the open counter presents the artisanal product range in a highly visible way. The result is a modern restaurant design in Vienna that brings together gelato, coffee and Italian joie de vivre.
