For the refurbishment of Das Sonnreich thermal spa hotel in Bad Loipersdorf, Derenko developed a consistent interior design concept for the lobby, bar, restaurant and 54 revitalised guest rooms. Nature-inspired and sustainable elements form a continuous design theme throughout the project. A bespoke leaf lattice pattern appears across room dividers, glazed surfaces and architectural details, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow.
Soft upholstered furniture, white hanging chairs, sheer curtains and the revived bar give the lobby the welcoming character of a spacious living room. In the restaurant, warm timber, long banquette seating, turquoise accents and distinctive pendant lights come together in a contemporary hospitality setting. The guest rooms combine natural wood surfaces, calm shades of blue and grey, indirect lighting and views of the surrounding landscape. Derenko’s hotel interior design translates wellness, nature and hospitality into a coherent spatial experience.
