Tradition meets mindful modernisation: At the long-established Viennese inn “Der Stasta” in Vienna’s 23rd district, Derenko once again had the honour of contributing its expertise in gastronomy interior design. Since 2014, the Glotz family has trusted our team to thoughtfully evolve their beloved restaurant.
In this latest renovation, the tavern room was revitalised with a newly designed bar, atmospheric lighting, and elegant design details. At the same time, the garden and vintner rooms now shine in a fresh yet grounded look that blends natural materials like wood, felt, glass, and stone with contemporary comfort.
The interior design reflects Viennese urban flair through classic restraint, complemented by warm wooden tones, soft upholstery colours, and graceful pendant lighting. Historic family portraits along the walls add personal character and authenticity. Clever zoning with cozy booths and seating niches enhances both privacy and acoustics – ideal for a relaxed dining experience.
This redesign not only preserves the house’s character but also introduces a forward-thinking hospitality concept that harmoniously combines tradition, functionality, and design.
