Dining Ruhm in Vienna's fourth district is renowned for its world-class Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine, crafted by brothers Marcel and Sascha Ruhm. To provide an equally fascinating setting for the extraordinary culinary creations, Derenko developed an interior concept based on a thrilling interplay of opposites. Under the guiding principle of a "design fusion," two distinct worlds meet within the space, challenging and harmoniously complementing each other.

The design combines the fine, clear, and quiet aesthetics of Japan with the expressive, colorful, and floral elements of Peru. A central focal point is the illuminated wall made of red weaves, perfectly staged against a muted ceiling in smoky green, evoking traditional Japanese craftsmanship. In opulent contrast, a memorable floral wallpaper on the adjacent wall brings the vibrancy of South America into the room.

This high-contrast play continues in the choice of materials and colors. Dark oak flooring meets a bright ceiling in bold coral, while soft upholstered chairs in the rear area ensure maximum comfort. With this interior architecture, Derenko has created a space that spatially translates the fascination of Nikkei cuisine, offering an authentic and comprehensive experience for gourmets.
