Nestled between the towering peaks of the Dachstein mountains and the iconic Lake Hallstatt, Homebound Bad Goisern offers a unique alpine retreat for nature lovers, families, and wellness travelers alike. Derenko was entrusted with developing the complete interior design concept, including the brand-aligned look and intuitive wayfinding system.
At the heart of the building lies the “Livingroom” – a welcoming community space featuring a cozy lounge, board games, book exchange, and toys. A modern fitness room with wooden workout equipment adds a wellness touch and reflects the hotel’s natural aesthetic.
A four-color design system defines the interior’s visual identity and serves as a clever guide throughout the building. In the apartments, this color language continues, blending with natural textures like wood, soft textiles, and minimal decorative details that reflect the surrounding landscape.
With smart space planning, playful graphic details, and a warm color palette, Derenko created a place that combines modern comfort with alpine soul – perfect for stylish downtime in the Austrian Alps.
