In the heart of Lower Austria, HAFNERTEC has created a unique experience space where innovation in heating meets atmospheric interior design. As a market leader in storage heating technology, the company launched its Show Hotel to present its latest products in a setting that combines functionality with emotion.
Derenko was tasked with translating this vision into a spatial identity. Across 20 individually designed rooms, Hafnertec’s core product – the ceramic tile stove – takes center stage. Used both visually and technically, it becomes a recurring design motif symbolizing comfort, sustainability, and timeless warmth.
Four of the apartments feature working stoves, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the full sensory experience – from lighting the fire to enjoying its radiant heat. Each of these rooms has its own distinct style: Industrial, Mediterranean, Alpine, and Urban – offering inspiration for homeowners, renovators, and design enthusiasts alike.
The result is a hospitality concept that functions not only as accommodation, but as a living showroom, proving that modern technology and thoughtful design can create spaces that are both innovative and deeply human.
