Under the motto "Where everyone finds their spot," Derenko has completely reinterpreted the historic Gasthaus Napoleon at Vienna's Kagraner Platz. The central design concept utilizes interior architecture to create a multitude of diverse room experiences across two levels. The design leads guests on a journey of discovery, where each room possesses its own identity, reflecting a specific facet of a fictional innkeeping family.
The interior design is characterized by an immense visual variety that gives the feeling of entering an entirely new world when moving between rooms. While "Grandpa's Hunting Parlor" breathes tradition with rustic elements and antlers, the "Atelier Room" impresses with a colorful, artistic staging. In contrast, the "Hofburg Room" presents itself in classic red with magnificent splendor, while the "Living Room" ensures pure coziness with an authentic tiled stove and vintage details.
The design challenge was to take beautiful old elements and provide them with new accents and a modern interpretation. In spaces like "Grandma's Kitchen," historical references merge with contemporary comfort into an atmospheric whole. Derenko thus created a gastronomic experience that captivates through detailed storytelling and the deliberate staging of contrasting themed worlds, inviting guests to discover something new with every visit.
