In the heart of Vienna, the Nolze Contact Lens Institute has undergone a thoughtful redesign by the interior experts at Derenko. The mission: to transform a clinical waiting area into a comfortable lounge that also functions as a stylish eyewear showroom.

At the center of the concept are modular hanging shelves, allowing for flexible and visually striking product displays. Natural materials such as veneered oak and birch plywood, paired with fabrics in warm earth tones, bring a sense of calm and sophistication to the space.

A bold cobalt blue highlights walls and doorframes, providing contrast and depth against the otherwise bright color palette. Carefully curated decor – including dried plants and framed silkscreen graphics – adds personality and a touch of artfulness.

The result is a space that balances form and function, offering clients a welcoming atmosphere and a refined setting for professional consultation. Derenko’s design proves that clear vision begins with a well-designed space.
