For Tauber am See in Andau, Derenko developed a modern interior design concept that reflects the natural character of the Seewinkel region and translates it into a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Austrian restaurant. Redesigned in 2017, the lakeside restaurant combines open spatial structures, natural materials and warm wood surfaces to create an inviting hospitality concept.
Modern herringbone parquet meets rustic wooden flooring, large window fronts bring natural light into the interior, and suspended wooden beams define the ceiling. These elements not only create atmosphere but also improve the acoustics of the high-ceilinged space. The result is a restaurant design by the lake that brings together comfort, natural materials and contemporary hospitality planning.
