Asian Flavors Meet Visual Clarity

Right in the heart of Vienna’s bustling central train station, the concept restaurant Ramen red peppery impresses with a modern and authentic look.

Our brand design team had the opportunity to create a holistic visual experience that fuses contemporary design with traditional Asian aesthetics. The redesigned logo captures the identity of the restaurant while staying true to its original name – yet reimagines form and color from the ground up. Inspired by the interior concept developed by Derenko, the restaurant showcases a vibrant red color palette, accented with creamy pink, soft beige, and matte black.

A central design element is the stylized interpretation of ramen noodles, repeated as a pattern across branding and interior elements. Watercolor textures add organic calmness, serving as a visual counterpoint to the high-energy station environment. Chopsticks and other iconic symbols from Asian cuisine are thoughtfully integrated into the furniture and walls, crafting a space that is both inviting and expressive.

This project reflects how thoughtful design can build a cultural bridge – inviting guests to dive deeper into the richness of Asian culinary tradition through modern, emotionally resonant visual storytelling.
